Bethany High Family Fund

Dear members of the Bethany family,

We are grateful to each one of you for your support and help towards the Bethany High Family Fund, through which we were able to help sixteen families of our students for their basic needs of rent, medicines and food. All of them are very grateful for this monthly help and have told us that they now feel more confident of facing the future. Many parents also came forward to contribute towards this fund and we are grateful to you, teachers, for passing on this vision to parents of your class. We still hope that, eventually, this will snowball into a corpus fund to also help enable members of the family to be trained to earn their own livelihood.

Mrs. Sushma Natarajan, on behalf of the core committee has been managing this fund efficiently. She has, along with a parent volunteer, visited the families to encourage them and assure them of our suppport.

The commitment that we made to these families must be sustained. In fact, there are more families that have been referred, but whom we were unable to help because of the paucity of fund.
