ADMISSION PROCESS FOR THE YEAR 2008-2009

 

For this academic year 2008-2009 the Management has decided that NO REGISTRATION /APPLICATION FORMS will be issued.

 

Instead, Parents can submit a request letter (preferably Hand-Written) between 20th February 2008 and 5th March 2008.  No letters will be accepted before 20th February or after 5th March 2008. Some of the particulars that should be submitted are:

 

A.    Name of the child with photograph

B.     Name of the parent with educational qualification

C.     Residential Address with Contact Numbers

D.    Parents’ employment, company, and designation.

E.     Child’s date of birth (Attested Photocopy of the Corporation/Municipal Birth Certificate to be attached)

F.     Admission sought for Pre-Nursery or Nursery [LKG]

G.    Address proof [Copy of passport/ driving licence / Voter

    ID/ Ration Card / Telephone Bill]

H. Name, Class & Section of the applicants brother/sister studying in Bethany

I. Mention Second Language (Hindi / Kannada)

The New Prospectus will cost Rs. 300/- per copy.  It is NOT compulsory to buy the prospectus.

 

Bethany will be following the suggestions of the GANGULY REPORT mentioned in The Times of India, Bangalore dated Thursday, November 1, 2007 for selecting the candidates. The report took into account criteria like Distance, Siblings, Alumni, Parents’ education etc… as well as the School’s own criteria.

 

The process of selection will be carried out by a special selection committee selected by the Management. The Principal / Headmaster / Vice-Principal are not on the selection committee. 

 

There will be NO meetings this year. The Selected candidates will have to fill an application form at the time of paying the admission fee for our school records.

 

 

AGE:

 

PRE NURSERY    -       3+ as of 31st May 2008

 

NURSERY/LKG    -       4 + as of 31st May 2008

 

 

NO RECOMMENDATIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED; SCHOOL AUTHORITIES WILL INTERACT DIRECTLY WITH THE APPLICANT’S PARENTS ONLY.
